Cabin Fever Reliever: Hearth Bread & Butter Workshop

SOLD OUT

Hearth Bread & Butter Workshop

Sunday, February 18
1-3pm
general admission - $25
members - $20

Join us at the Guyon-Lake-Tysen House kitchen to learn bread baking basics, the old fashioned way. Using the tools and implements available to bakers in the 1820s, this class will give you a new appreciation for the work and process of making your own loaf of bread. This herbal bread workshop is open to novices and master bakers alike. As you wait for the dough to rise, you'll explore the rest of the historic house and other structures on site - and you'll get to churn your own butter, t'boot! Admission includes all materials and ingredients needed for this class.
